Using Square POS API & Hardware

General notes on using the Square POS Hardware.

The physical Square POS hardware is dumb. No account information is maintain in the hardware, it mearly acts as a conduit between the Credit Card and the installed Square POS app.

When installed, the Square POS application holds the account details for the bank account to be credited with any transactions. These details are not available to any Third Party applications (Such as the TAAP F2F app.).

Third Party applications are registed in the Square Developer’s Portal and this is validated by the Square App during each transaction.
